GuruLib community

Filed under: Uncategorized — gurulib @ 2:30 pm

GuruLib has a community page now. If you are interested in knowing who else is using GuruLib, this is the place to go. Only public profiles and books or movies on the public shelf are listed. If you have any concerns regarding privacy, set your profile as private and also your shelves as private. All these new features are very much in the beta phase and might have some unknown bugs. We need your help in improving GuruLib by providing us with feedback and bug report.

  1. Hi, there’s a post on deeplinking.net about online bookshelves manager :

You should read the poor brief description of gurulib ! They really are unfair when you see the plethora of glossy and shining interfacess that offers almost none fonctionallity ! ;(

As an ex-librarian (I managed a college – “lycée” in france – library for 5 years), and I was very impressed when I discover your soft.

    Long live to Gurulib !!
    🙂

  2. Thank you Mael for your continued support. I have seen that post sometime ago but did not feel responding to them. I rely upon wonderful people like you to provide feedbacks to cater GuruLib to a growing number of fans. Still working on the accent issue but the school work is slowing me down a little bit 🙂

  3. I am experiencing 2 bugs: 1) Notes do not save on the Note page. When you return to Catalog or Library after posting a Note they are lost. 2) When adding a book to Library using Manual entry mode you must enter Genrte first. If you don’t the drop down menu covers the Genre box and I’ve not found out how to move or close the drop down menu.
