Once again apologies for the time it took to bring GuruLib back. A new CPU, extra heat sink and an additional cooling fan hopefully should prevent this failure in future. Thank you for your patience and I hope to build a reserve money in future for maintenance. If you find this service useful you may donate here

Great news! Many folks thought the Lifehacker traffic brought your site down after they linked to my article at MakeUseOf.com!

The problem was with heat dissipation within the CPU tower. Power outage in the midwest during a particularly hot day in June caused the external cooling fans to fail and cause the CPU to fail. I am thankful for your review of GuruLib.

I am so pleased to see you back, what is a reasonable amount to donate? I am not rich but I love Gurulib and would like to contribute something.
Thanks for all your hard work – and everything.
Regards
Marion

Any amount is reasonable. GuruLib has an yearly expense of $360 for the bandwidth and another $200 on hardware maintenance. Any amount that will help offset some of those cost is greatly appreciated. On average people had donated $25.

With the recent compromise of your hotmail account, should we still send paypal funds to it? I was just getting ready to send a donation, but now I’m sure it would get to where it needs to be.
